R.L.
About
Robert Lavelle Huggar, born April 2, 1977 in Minneapolis, is an American singer.
He is best known as the lead singer of the R&B group Next.
RL first distinguished himself outside of Next with his duet with Deborah Cox on the song "We Can't Be Friends" as well as other projects.
RL followed this effort with the track Super-Group from the soundtrack of the film The Best Man which also featured Ginuwine, Tyrese and Case.
By the time RL's soulful (from the soundtrack of the film The Brothers) and its hook to Tupac's Until the End of Time were released, he had created a distinct and separate artistic personality from Next.
RL: Elements is RL's first solo project.
It spawned the singles "Got Me A Model" (the Sermon Erick) and "Good Man".
