Corey Drumz; lyricist, songwriter and author from Hollis, Queens, NYC, blends raw authenticity with timeless cinematic storytelling. Son of 1950's & 1960's recording artist/songwriter and composer, Larry Banks and singer, then later, computer programmer, Joan Carol Pulliam aka Jaibi, as well as being the father of of his own offspring of artists/songwriters, Jayy Gawd, JaDaya Koray, Jxly Banks. Corey’s music is rooted in life experience, passion and perseverance. From early local park jams, to major & independent labels, to decades of life and a recognition built and earned by living to the "beat of his own drum," his journey embodies the heart and spirit of hip-hop.
